Using Free Link Exchange Manager or Building Reciprocal links for pagerank

Should you or should you not exchange links?

Search Engine Optimization can be the major difference between what could be a small enterprise, a barely profitable website and a well known high traffic website. Website owners have been practicing the method of exchanging links with others for a long time now for the purpose of Search Engine Optimization. Today things are changing tough, recent changes made in the algorithms that calculate rankings have made benefits of exchanging links with other sites virtually obsolete. It does not mean that such methods are a total waste but it really doesn’t provide the same desired effects as it were in the past.

As it is in today’s scenario we’d be better of relying on other methods for building a bevy of inbound links to your website. There are various ways in which this objective can be attained. The first being the simplest one too and that is to buy inbound links. Buying links from every where you can find them will certainly not help, what is needed that the links are coming from sites that are established and are relevant to your target niche. By adopting this technique one has two things to gain. First, it gets visitors that are already targeted and looking for information in your niche market, and second; it helps optimize your website for search engines in your niche field.

Use good and unique article to submit to article directories. There are twin benefits of article submission that are vital to those trying to build businesses online. One is that it provides inbound links; more these are articles are read viewed and used the more traffic it will build to your website which in turn favors search engine algorithms. The other benefit that comes with having articles on your website is that even without realizing the effects the website owners become powerful players in niche market. Good content articles on varied subjects help you grow immensely. If you can’t write them yourself don’t worry, you can hire the services of blog and article writers who can research the topics and write about them. Such articles once submitted to article directories they start working towards achieving search engine page ranking which is the icing on top that most website owners are hoping to get.

My understanding is that it is best to exchange links with sites that are somehow related to your site and not just link farms. In fact, link farms will lower your page rank rather than make it better. You can also sponsor competitions to get some valuable inbound links. The reward can range from may be a free product or a free banner ad for the winner each month. The basic point here is that we all would need more inbound links that outbound ones and fewer number of reciprocal links as possible at a particular given time.

Again the bottom line is, exchanging links is fine but not so many as supposed to inbound links. If the scenario is such that you will have to exchange links in lieu or greed of those important inbound links you must be working with mutual sites that make the links you are getting look relevant and useful for the visitors. Also don’t blindly get lured into exchanging links, the website you are trading with should be superior in quality and very closely related to the niche market your website addresses. It can be done to good effect but the traditional method of exchanging these links is a thing of the past.
