Buying Links – Fruitful or Waste of Time?
Search Engine Operations (SEO) can rightly be termed as the innovative way that attracts the right kind of visitors to you website which is so important in running an online business today. Even if you do not have a business online, your website still needs SEO work because that’s how the world will know about it.
If you think for a moment, your site is worthless if nobody in the world knows about it. It’s like as if the site does not exist. One can adopt various ways to SEO optimize a website in order to receive favorable recognition when it comes to page rank. There are some procedures that are known to be more effective and result oriented than the others and search engines keep updating their formulas for their rakings to avoid sites taking advantage without offering new and unique content that in turn set these high ranking websites apart from others that are much more informative and enlightening to visitors.
One of the effective and proven seo methods is to acquire link from trusted website in your niche. You may buy a link to your website but is it fruitful?
Till not long ago it was considered very beneficial, if not the most effective way of increasing page ranking (we’d assume that the content on your website is good and visitors like the site material), today it is believed that inbound links to your website may be less effective than in days past for increasing page rank, it all depends how the link was acquired and the reputation and page rank of the website.
What is more important however is that search engines are taking note of how these links have been acquired? One is not necessarily penalized or docked points for reciprocal links, they are most often not rewarded for the same as was the case in the past. So in a sense all the time that you have put in that reciprocal links are often wasted effort on behalf of both website owners.
There are many factors that decide your position on the search engines. The higher you are on the search engines, the more inclined people will be to click on your website. More and more people are on the look out for other ways of gaining inbound links that do not ask for reciprocal links. Among these is what has become known as “pay per post” advertising. This method works by the way of paying bloggers to visit other sites and create a blog post with a link to your site and writing a few nice words about the features of your site and the benefits the site has to offer. This is less targeted than some other links may have been in the past, but as far as inbound links goes, it is highly effective and inbound links can have a positive effect on page ranking.
Another way of increasing your page rank is by paying the sites that are similar in nature to that of yours’. You can also ask the site to create a nice review of your site and vice a versa. This in turn brings in links, reviews and curious visitors -especially if the blog doing the reviewing is a popular blog in an appropriate niche. You simply have to be creative and there are many things to can do to attain the desired objective. You can also visit review sites and ask them to do a review of your site, favorably of course. It is important that you find blogs and site similar in nature to that of yours’ so there is a mutual interest and both the parties benefit from the transaction. Remember to set some rules before entering into an agreement so as not to be disappointed at a later stage or at the time of viewing the review.
The most recent update of Google’s analyzing software appears to have increased the need importance of both inbound and outbound links being relevant to the topic of the website. But the bottom line is that what ever you do to increase your page rank, if you are buying links then just make sure that you are working with relevant sites that have appropriate content and the links that you place with them help your business grow.
